About the Rowing Club Argentino
"Rowing Club Argentino" (RCA) was founded on 14 April 1905 in Buenos
Aires by members of the "Buenos Aires Rowing Club" (the first rowing
club in Argentina, founded in 1873) and of the "Tigre Boat Club" (founded in 1888 as an offspring of the Buenos Aires Rowing
Club). Official regattas started on 11 November 1908. On 2 February 1935, the yachting section of the club was officially recognized.
