Description of arms (German): In Rot eine ein Fünfeck bildende silberne Stadtbefestigung, die nach unten zu einem doppelpfortigen Torgebäude mit knopfbekröntem Zeltdach spitz zuläuft, rechts und links je einen ebenso gedeckten Turm umschließt und oben von einem durch zwei kleine Zinnentürmchen flankierten großen Zinnenturm überragt wird. Blazoning of arms (English): Gules, a pentagonal city wall tapering to base containing in base a portal building with a double portal and a pavilion roof topped with a plate, in dexter and sinister each a tower with the same type of roof, in chief a tower embattled between two small turrets embattled, all Argent.

A historical flag coloured white-yellow-blue-yellow from the time around 1750 is in the possession of the city [1]; the exact pattern is unknown to me.
