Velika Kladuša is the second largest municipality in Una-Sana Canton.

Flag of Velika Kladuša

The symbols of Velika Kladuša are prescribed by Decision Odluka o grbu i zastavi Opčine Velika Kladuša, adopted on 29 September 1999 by the Municipal Assembly and published in the Municipal official gazette Službeni glasnik Općine Velika Kladuša.
The use and protection of the name, of the coat of arms and of the flag of the municipality are prescribed by Decision Odluka o upotrebi i zaštiti imena, grba i zastave Opčine Velika Kladuša, adopted on 31 August 2007 and published in Službeni glasnik Općine Velika Kladuša, No. 5 (text).
Almost the full Decision adopted in 1999 is included, word for word, in Articles 7-13 of the consolidated Municipal Statutes Statut Opčine Velika Kladuša (prečišćeni tekst), adopted on 12 September 2005 by the Municipal Assembly and published in Službeni glasnik Općine Velika Kladuša, No. 9 (text). This is repeated in renumbered Articles 8-14 of the current Municipal Statutes Statut Opčine Velika Kladuša, adopted on 25 October 2007 by the Municipal Assembly and published in Službeni glasnik Općine Velika Kladuša, No. 9 (text).

The flag is shown on the municipal website (photos no longer online), with the following description (no longer online either):

Zastava Općine Velika Kladuša je svjetlo plave boje. Lijevo od centra nalazi se grb Općine Velika Kladusa. Od donjeg ruba zastave prema gornjem rubu paralelno su smještena dva bijela polja koja se protežu cijelom dužinom zastave. Grb općine donjim saživljenim završetkom dodiruje bijelo paralelno polje. Zastava je pravougaonog oblika. Odnos između dužine i širine zastave je 1:2.
