The Federal Police (website), established in 2001, carries out specialized and supra-local administrative and judicial police operations, and supports both local and federal police services and units.
The Federal Police has three Directorates:
- General Directorate of the Administrative Police (DGA);
- General Directorate of the Judicial Police (DGJ);
- General Directorate of Support and Management (DGS).

The flag of the Federal Police (photo) is a white horizontal blue flag with the logo, beneath the word "Police" (French). It is possible that the word police can also be written in Dutch ("Politie") and German ("Polizei").

Some versions of the logo with text underneath additionally have a stripe below that text, in some hard to determine shade. I wonder if this will also show up in the flag if a large enough photograph can be found.
