About the Flag of Botucatu

The flag is blue with a golden-yellow disk cut by a line that runs horizontally from the hoist side to the center of the disk, then turns sharply downward and curves counter-clockwise to the lower flyward portion of the disk. According to the official municipal website, the flag was adopted by law of 10 November 1983, and the blue line on the central disk is a portrayal of the Botacatu coastline.
