About the Flag

The municipality of Floreal (3,003 inhabitants in 2010; 20,430 ha) is located 520 km of São Paulo.

Floreal was founded on 6 August 1935, as Vila Floresta. The district of Floreal was established by State Decree-Law No. 14,334 of 30 November 1944, as part of the municipality of Nhandeara. The municipality of Floreal was established by State Law No. 5,121 of 31 December 1958 and inaugurated on 1 January 1960.

The flag of Floreal is vertically divided blue-white-blue with the municipal coat of arms in the middle. The respective width of the stripes cannot be guessed form the available sources.
