About the Flag

The municipality of Getulina (10,777 inhabitants in 2010; 67,543 ha) is located 490 km of São Paulo. The municipality is made of the town of Getulina proper and of the districts of Macucos and Santa América.

The symbols of Getulina are prescribed in Article 1.5 of the Municipal Constitution as "the coat of arms, the flag, the anthem and other symbols established by Municipal Law and representative of its traditions, culture and history".

The flag is horizontally divided green-yellow-green with a vertical yellow stripe placed along the hoist and charged with the municipal coat of arms and a thinner red stripe in the middle of the horizontal yellow stripe.
