The Flag

On January, 3, 2005, by Decree number 1 by the President of the Republic of Belarus adopted new symbols in the Region of Mogilyov and including the coat of arms and flag of Osipovichi City (город Осиповичи). The flag is green, 1:2. In the bottom of a cloth are located three narrow horizontal equal stripes - black, white and black (1:1:1). Under them the green strip which width is equal to the sum of width black, white and black strips (i.e.3). I.e., speaking on language of vexillography , this flag is v/n/w/n/v as 14:1:1:1:3. This flag is vexillographical interpretation of the coat of arms of this city.

The coat of arms is a green (vert) shield with black (sable) old steam-locomotive on silver per fess, fimbriated by black (sable). Black and white stripes symbolize the railway.
