Description of the flag

The flag of Barrhead County features a coat of arms consisting of a moose’s head, lodgepole pine tree, lighting and storm clouds above a body of water and a bird’s feather which symbolizes friendship with the aboriginal communities. On either side of the coat of arms are two supporters: a fox and a blue heron. The number eleven in the center of the coat of arms is the number assigned to this county by the provincial government.
