Description of the flag

The Village of Breton, Alberta (population: 573) is located Southwest of Edmonton in Brazeau County.

Logging, agriculture and oil and gas exploration are the major forms of economic activity in the region and these are also reflected in the design of the Village flag. Agriculture is represented by two blades of wheat, logging is depicted by a circular sawmill blade and oil field activity by an oil well pump jack.
