Description of the flag

According to Marge Williams, Chief Administrative Officer, Town of Coalhurst, the coal miner illustrated on the town's flag was taken from a ceramic miner made by a resident in the early 1980s - the yellow stripes represent looking into the future. The Town of Coalhurst (population: 1,493) is located west of the City of Lethbridge in Southern Alberta.
