Description of the flag

The flag of the Village of Pouce Coupe, British Columbia, consists of three horizontal stripes of green-white-green with old village emblem position on the hoist overlapping all three stripes and "Pouce Coupe" in the rest of the white stripe. The Village:
"The Village of Pouce Coupe (French for "cut-thumb") is a small town in northeastern British Columbia, Canada, and a member municipality of the Peace River Regional District. It was originally named 'Pouskapie's Prairie, after the name of the local native band chief.
