This new communal flag is the one created for the new Commune of "Clos du Doubs" which was founded on the 1st January 2009 following the fusion of the communes of Epauvillers, Epiquerez, Montenol, Montmelon, Ocourt, Saint-Ursanne and Seleute. It's part of the Republic and Canton of Jura.

The new Flag will be inaugurated tomorrow (2009-09-27) at St-Ursanne, the main town of this new Commune although St-Ursanne is famous because of its nicely preserved Medieval look. The main cultural happenings is called the "Médiévales de St-Ursanne" when a whole week-end you can live like in the Middle Age...
