Kozojídky has 450 inhabitants. A small village located about 4 km southeasterly from Veselí nad Moravou. The village was mentioned for the first time in 1490 as a dorp built at goat pastures (kozí pastviny) which gave it its name. Its first owners were peers from Ostroh. Kozojídky is a birthplace of an academic painter Karel Benedík. Folk customs are well preserved here as St. Martin's feast in folk costumes or colouring eggs. Kozojídky is a wine village as well falling in the region of Strážnice. There is an annual traditional wine gustation accompanied by a dulcimer band in the time before Easter.
