Ostrov Coat of Arms

[Ostrov Coat of Arms] image provided by Aleš Křižan, 28 Dec 2000

The original Coat of Arms was the full one of the Kingdom with two squirrels as supporters. The emperor Rudolph II granted the improved Arms (1604) - the Chateau (zámek, Schloss) with seven towers (5 visible). The Royal Crest should be: an eagle's wing sable seamed with hearts (or Linden leaves inverted) Or.
