The flag of the town of Klimkovice (Moravosilesian Region) is horizontally red over green, with the Bohemian lion. See "Foto z
jarmarku" at this website. Number of inhabitants by 1.1. 2002: 3756. Before World War I the town was known as "town of Klimkovice shoemakers". The town was probably found by King Přemysl Otakar II. The present name was first mentioned 1420. Petr Bezruč's park is the present name of the former chateau park with many exotic woody species. The town is connected with novel by Jarmila Glazarová who lived there in 1918 - 1934. There are arcades in the square.
