Hať municipality flag

[Hat municipality flag] by Blas Delgado Ortiz, 24 Aug 2001, after image by Petr Exner; flag adopted 13 Jun 1995

This one is canting, since "Hat" and "had" ("snake") are pronounced identically in Czech.
Lewis A. Nowitz, 24 Aug 2001

Mr. L.A. Nowitz was right about Hať flag (district Opava), although I thought he's wrong! "Hať" and "Had" are pronounced a little different, but the oldest name of the community was "HAT" without diacrtical sign and the snake was in the seal. The net or bars is also reference to the name. "Hať" is a causeway of timber  or fascine through swamps, also known as corduroy road.
