Dolní Bečva, Vsetín, Zlín region - adopted 13 Jun 1995. Karolinka is a
small town in Vsetin okres in eastern Czechia, very near the Slovakian
border. Flag, to be found on this
website, where a heraldic sign and a flag were officially given to
Karolinka by the Czech Parliament. The glass symbolizes glass-making tradition,
the blue waves (resp. blue stripes on the flag) symbolize the Stanovnice
Dam and the green background is meant to symbolize the nature - mountains
of Javorniky and Beskydy. In 1998 Karolinka was declared a town. The population
is about 2950.
