In order to create the capacities required for the future, the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport "Willy Brandt" is currently built in Schönefeld-South. All air traffic in Germany's capital region will be concentrated in the south-east of Berlin. The other airports had similar flags with inscription TXF for Berlin-Tegel Airport, SXF for Berlin-Schönefeld Airport and BER for the new Berlin-Brandenburg International Airport in Schönefeld-South.
