Description of banner:
It is a blue - white vertical bicolour. The coat of arms is shifted to the top.

Bitz Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a blue shield is a silver (= white) eagle's wing. The shield has a golden (= yellow) chief, superimposed by a black attire.
Meaning:
The attire is representing the Kings of Württemberg, the former rulers, while the eagle's wing is representing the Lords of Lichtenstein, local rulers until 1386.

The current coat of arms was approved on 17 April 1958 by minister of interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 219/1958. A blue - white bicolour was already approved on 8 May 1951 by ministry of state of Württemberg-Hohenzollern.
