Description of coat of arms:
In a silver (=white) field a black sharp-shinned hawk armed golden (=yellow) is sitting on top of a green hill having three peaks. The hill is superimposed by a silver, wavy bend sinister.
Meaning:
According to source the bird and the bend together are canting (creek of the sharp-shinned hawk). The hill is symbolizing the location in the Baumberge, a slope of hills in the area south of Münster.
