The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a yellow over blue over yellow horizontal triband with ratio 1:3:1. The coat of arms is in the middle of the central stripe.

Description of banner:
It is a yellow - blue - yellow vertical triband with ratio 1:3:1. The coat of arms is shifted to the top.

Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a golden (=yellow) shield are three blue church clock towers ordered two above one.
Meaning:
According to source the towers are symbolizing the villages of Nordkirchen, Südkirchen and Capelle. The colours had been taken from the arms of the counts of Plettenberg. Ferdinand von Plettenberg had erected Nordkirchen moated castle, one of the most beautiful castles in Münster district in 1705.
