Description of coat of arms:
The golden(=yellow) shield is divided by a red bar. Above is a red capital "W", below an "O"
Meaning:
According to source yellow and red had been the colours of the bishopric of Münster. "WO" is an abbreviation of Wigbold Olfen and had been the distinguishing mark in the arms of the sovereigns, the bishops of Münster.
