Description of banner:
It is a red - yellow vertical bicolour. The coat of arms is shifted to the top.

Bahlingen Municipal Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per pale into gold (= yellow) and blue. The dexter side is divided by a red bend. The sinister side displays a silver (= white) winegrower's knife with a black handle over a silver (= white) plough share.
Meaning:
The dexter side displays the arms of Baden. The tools on the sinister side are symbolizing viticulture and agriculture. Since the 14th century Bahlingen belonged to the Margraviate of Hachberg, that had been sold to the Margraves of Baden in 1415. The existence of similar court seals can be proven since 1485. The current pattern was used since 1665.

The banner and was approved on 16 August 1989 by the county administration, published in GABl 1035/1990. The colours of the coat of arms were fixed in 1913 due to a suggestion of Generallandesarchiv in 1906
