Description of coat of arms:
In a golden (= yellow) shield is a black goat's head.
Meaning:
In order to distinguish from other villages having the same name, the locals inofficially told their village "Geißbeuren". "Geiß" is a she-goat. The colours yellow and black (colours of Württemberg) had been chosen, because the village belonged to Württemberg since 1301. Due to consultations with State Archive Directorate the arms were adopted in 1930. The colours of the sheet had been chosen later. Black was replaced by blue in order to avoid confusion with the civil flag of the state.

Banner and coat of arms were approved on 11 July 1973 by minister of interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 1082/1973. The banner should be blue - yellow according to approval.
