Baiersbronn Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a blue shield is a silver (= white) fountain with two tubes.
Meaning:
Baiersbronn in the 1970ies was the biggest municipality by extent and one of the biggest number of inhabitants. Baiersbronn consisted of many widespread settlement cores with the forests of the Zähringen kin. It became a touristical hot spot since 1910. The fountain (German: Brunnen) is a canting element and could be found for the first time on a local seal in the late 19th century. The arms were simplified in the 1950ies.
