The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a plain white flag with the coat of arms in its centre.

Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess. Above is a red demi-lion issuant, blue crowned, tongued and armed. Below in a black field is a silver (=white) shuttle with a silver (=white) yarn coming out of the shuttle. The coat of arms was granted by the Prussian king Wilhelm II in 1892.
Meaning:
The lion belongs to the coat of arms of the counts of Berg. The shuttle symbolizes the textile industries and the manufacturing of cloth since the Middle Ages.
