Description of current flag:
The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a red - yellow - red vertical triband with ratio 1:2:1. The coat of arms is in the middle of the central stripe.

Description of coat of arms:
In the base of the red shield is a golden (= yellow) fleur de lis topped by two hatches of the same colour crossed per saltire.
Meaning:
The hatches are canting (Hagen ~= Hacken). The lily is taken from the arms of the local von Thomsdorff family.
