The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a red - yellow - red vertical triband with ratio 1:2:1. The coat of arms is in the middle of the central stripe.

Description of coat of arms:
In a red shield is a golden (=yellow) fleur de lis. A silver (= white) wavy fess is in the base.
Meaning:
According to source Roggentin belonged to the monastery of Sonnenkamp since 1291, which was maintained by Benedictian nuns. This is symbolized by the lily. The wavy line is symbolizing Kösterbeck creek.
