Description of current flag:
The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a blue - white - blue vertical triband. The coat of arms is in the centre of the white stripe.

Description of coat of arms:
In a silver (=very light grey) shield is a dexter facing light blue helmet crowned golden (=yellow) and crested by peacock feathers in natural colour. The shield is topped by a light blue helmet crowned golden (= yellow) and crested by peacock feathers in natural colour, accompanied by silver (= very light grey) and light blue scarves. The helmet is flanked by two narrow bicolour pennants horizontally divided light blue over silver (= very light grey).
Light blue and silver had been the colours of Hitherpomerania.
