Description of banner:
It is a red - golden yellow vertical bicolour. The coat of arms is slightly shifted to the bottom.

Freudental Municipal Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a red shield is a golden yellow, serifed initial "F" having black shadow lines. The shield has agolden yellow chief, superimposed by a black antler.
Meaning:
"F" is the initial of the municipality, probably already appearing in seals, while the antler is alluding to the dukes of Württemberg

Banner and coat of arms were approved on 9 October 1980 by the county administration, published in GABl 232/1981. The colours acc. to the approval should however be black - yellow.
