It is a blue over white horizontal bicolour. The coat of arms is in the centre of the flag.

Description of coat of arms:
In a silver (=white) shield ist a a red castle, consisting of a wall masoned black with a blue gate and a golden (=yellow) portcullis. The two towers are unmasoned and topped by blue cone shaped roofs, which are topped by golden balls. Between the towers is a black eagle armed and tongued red.
Meaning:
The castle is alluding to the denomination as little town (German: Städtlein), which was interpreted as city since 1856. The eagle is reminding at the sovereignty of Brandenburg until 1390. According to source in 1970 there is a plain flag reported having the same colours.
