Description of coat of arms:
In a golden (= yellow) shield is a green, eradicated fir tree, accompanied by blue tools for forest clearance. The tools, a mattock and an axe are crossed per saltire.
Meaning:
The fir tree is alluding to the location of Neuried on the northern edge of Forstenried Park, a forest south of München. The tools are reminding on the fact that the municipality was established by forest clearances.
