Description of banner:
It was a green-white vertical bicolour.
Meaning:
The colours are the main colours of the county arms and of the former Rhineprovince as well. On 7 November 1970 the county merged with Mayen County. Small portions became part of the city of Koblenz and Rhein-Hunsrück County.
