The ratio is 3:5. It is a blue over yellow horizontal bicolour. The coat of arms is in the centre of the flag.

Coat of arms

Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess wavy. Above in a golden (=yellow) field is a red inescutcheon showing a silver (= white) fleur de lis. Below in a blue field are four golden (= yellow) blossoms of rape.
Meaning:
The inescutcheon is the coat of arms of the local von Schack family, the blossoms are symbolizing agriculture.

Flag and coat of arms were approved by minister of interior of Mecklenburg-Westpomerania on 26 October 2010, published in the roll of arms of Mecklenburg-Westpomerania as no. 0333.
