Description of current flag:
The ratio is 3:5. It is a yellow over green horizontal bicolour with ratio 1:2. The coat of arms is in the centre of the flag.

Coat of arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a golden (= yellow) field is a green oak tree having two stems. In the treetop is a golden (= yellow) inescutcheon showing a black ladder. The chief is green and separated by a fessy line. He shows two golden (= yellow) swords crossed per saltire.
Meaning:
The oak is symbolizing forestal riches and alluding to an oak tree, who was said to have marvellous powers. The swords are alluding to a battle of Major Adolf Baron of Lützow against French occupants in 1813. The inescutcheon shows the arms of Lützow family. The wavy chief is canting alluding to the fountains of Schilde creek (Sorry,untranslatable)
