Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per pale. The dexter side shows a half red wheel with 5 spokes in a silver (= white) field. The sinister side shows four silver (=white) drops ordered 1:2:1 in a blue field.
Meaning:
According to source the wheel is taken from the arms of von Stralendorf kin, having been former rulers for a while. The sinister side is symbolizing a local fountain, which supplied nearby Wismar with drinking water. The number of drops is symbolizing the former municipalities of Klüssendorf, Martensdorf, Metelsdorf and Schulenbrook.
