Description of flag:
The ratio is 3:5. It is white flag edged by blue stripes at the top and bottom. In the centre of the white field is a red wheel with eight spokes. In the middle of both blue stripes is a white netting of filaments, two of them are bendy, three of them sinister bendy.
Meaning:
The colours are those of Schleswig-Holstein. The filaments are representing five streets crossing the municipality. The wheel is symbolizing agriculture and traffic.
Both elements are taken from the municipal arms. The filaments are in the 2nd field. They are doubled within image. According to the Roll of Arms they should have been divided horizontally with one half of the netting in the upper and the other in the lower blue stripe.
