The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a green over white over green horizontal triband with ratio 1:3:1. The coat of arms is in the centre of the white stripe.

Coat of arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a green shield is a silver(=white) rose beneath a chevron of the same colour, which is built by two wavy lines.
Meaning:
According to source the chevron is symbolizing the coniunction of the small rivers of Bigge and Lenne in the territory of the muncipality. The rose is taken from the arms of the lords of Finnentrop. The green colour is symbolizing the numerous meadows in the area.
