Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per pale. The golden (= yellow) dexter half is divided by a red fess. The sinister half is canting, displaying in a silver (= white) field a head on top of a green triple mount. Colour of face and hair is silver (= white), the bust is red while the hat is black.
Meaning:
The head on top of a mountain is known from seals since 1536. The dexter half displays the arms of the Lords of Geroldseck, who died out in 1634.
