Former Flag (until 1999)

Description of flag:
The ratio is 3:5. Traditionally the city used a plain horizontal black over green over red tricolour, which had been approved also in the Hauptsatzungen of 1994 and 1995. The colours are taken from the local coat of arms (red shield, black bull, green cloverstems). For special purposes it is permitted to modify the flag.
