Description of coat of arms:
In a red shield with a golden (= yellow) base is a prancing horse of the same colour.
Meaning:
The golden base is just a distinguishing mark. The horse is symbolizing the stud located in the village.

The flag was approved by minister of interior of Mecklenburg-Westpomerania on 4 May 2006, published in the roll of arms of Mecklenburg-Westpomerania as no. 0174, the coat of arms already on 23 November 1998.
