Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided by a silver (= white) bend sinister wavy into green over red. The green field is displaying a silver (= white) sheaf of grain. The red field is displaying a silver (= white) wheel with eight spokes.
Meaning:
The bend wavy is symbolizing the Aalbek, a local creek. The green colour and the sheaf are symbolizing agriculture, meadows and pasture as base of herding and milk production. The wheel is symbolizing trade, crafts and industry. Red especially is especially a colour of local bricks.
