Eningen Municipal Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a blue shield is a silver (= white) fleur de lis.
Meaning:
The municipality used a local seal, which probably was introduced in the 18th century, displaying a symbol similar to a fleur de lis. The fleur de lis might be considered to be an attribute of St.Mary. Down by the river a local chapel is dedicated to Her.

Colour and coat of arms were mentioned in 1935, but they had been already in use before.
