Description of coat of arms:
In a blue shield is a golden (= yellow) sparrowhawk, flying to the top. The shield has a base, chequered into black and silver (= white).
Meaning:
The sparrowhawk, a typical, local species is symbolizing the location on the high plateau of the Swabian Alb. The chequered base is taken from the arms of the local Sperberseck kin.
