This is the flag of the City of Bergen on Ruegen [Bergen auf Rügen] according to the City Statutes. Bergen is the administration seat of Ruegen [Rügen] County, in the State of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. This flag was adopted 19 November 1999 and the coat-of-arms was revised in 1998.
