Deißlingen Municipal Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a golden (= yellow) field is an upright, celestial blue wolf trap. The shield has a black chief superimposed by a golden (= yellow) attire.
Meaning:
On 1 January 1974 the municipality of Lauffen ob Rottweil joined the municipality of Deißlingen. The wolf trap, a local symbol since 1780 is representing Deißlingen proper. The old arms were the same just without chief. The attire is taken from the arms of Lauffen, but the colours due to heraldic rules had to be counterchanged. The attire is also symbolizing the rule of Württemberg (at least in Lauffen).

Banner and coat of arms were approved on 10 December 1981 by the county administration, published in GABl 351/1982.
