Description of coat of arms:
The golden (= yellow) shield is divided by a black saltire, which is superimposed by a silver (= white) saltiret(?). Thw whole is superimposed by a golden golden (= yellow) imperial globe and flanked by two black fir cones.
Meaning:
The municipalities of Fluorn and Winzeln merged on 1 November 1972, published in GABl 1312/1972. The saltire is taken from the arms of Fluorn. The old arms were in use since 1927. The saltire had been taken from the arms of the local nobility. Globe and cones were taken from the arms of Winzeln. Winzeln used seals displaying the globe (or something similar) at least since 1928. The cones were added to the arms in 1958, symbolizing forestal riches. The colours are those of the Imperial City of Rottweil, to which both municipalities belonged until 1803.
