Field 2 represents the city character. Lohne was founded as a consequence
of the building of a church, so a religious building was chosen to represent
the Christian character of the city.
Field 3 stands for the Lohner industry. The first industry was in feathers,
so a swan's wing arises from a golden crown. The crown represents the wages
(Lohn) and price of the citizens' ingenuity.
