Description of flag:
The ratio of the flag is 3:5. It is a black over yellow horizontal bicolour with the coat of arms in its centre.
Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess. The 1st field shows antlers in natural colour in a red field with a silver (=white) inescutcheon showing a red griffin’s head armed golden (=yellow). The 2nd field is chequered into black and golden (=yellow).
Source: Hauptsatzung of Putbus §2(2) and (3). I spotted an image of the coat of arms on 19 December 2008 above the entrance of the local townhall.
